Just a quote

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people will not feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not in just some of us; It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

Marianne Williamson
A Return To Love (1992),
Chapter 7

Another day zipped by without me having accomplished anything. Yet again i am procrastinating. This nonchalant air that surrounds me seems to be blinding my train of thought. 5 complete days went by ever so quickly and i am still..... what am i doing?

The one about the man who was trapped in the elevator for 41 hours

I know this video is not new, but somehow or rather, ive managed to stumble upon it yet again. It's so sad. If it were me, i dont think i'd be able to last that long.

The Changi Village Experience

For this shoot, i was pretty much unprepared. Procrastination at home is so much fun until you've realised your a little bit behind schedule. Thats when reality screams in your ear and tell you that your f*cked. So i rushed, driving off like a mad man (bear in mind that i seldom do that; strictly abiding to every single traffic rule and regulation driving in my very slow and stock car). When i reached Changi, i zipped past all the ah-sohs and the ah-peks and the fishing dudes, snap snap snapping all the way till i could find a decent spot to set up my tripod. That evening, it seemed as though the sunset was waiting for me (you camwhore). Right after the first click of my shutter, the sky burst into a million array of colours, showing off its majestic light and i was utterly in awe of its grandeur. Not wasting any time, i milked every last drop of the sunset, trying to capture "The Moment". Exaggeration or any forms of alteration was not a requirement as i felt that the outcome of the pictures and the colours that ive managed to capture was adequate.

The one about the beginning

So this is it; ive finally plucked up enough energy to creating my first photo blog. I've realised that i am really quite disastrous with my words (had always been as far back as i can remember). My diction, if not my attitude, might kill you. So less words, more pictures...
