Ripped off

No names shall be mentioned but vivid description is a plenty. If you feel like in the mood for mediocre tasting food with a Hollywood celebrity price, go to this place. This place is crap. The durians that they sell taste like crap. Uncle crappy who serves you comes with a complementary "sialan" face, its on the house yaw'll. And did i mentioned, the durians here are crappy? You can most definitely get better tasting durians in Geylang, which is just a couple of blocks down the road. And its definitely gonna be cheaper. $50 per durian, WTF? What fertilizer did you use for this fruit; steroids? I'd rather spent the money at Prive along Keppel Bay Dr. At least you know where your money is going and the staff that serves you are forever smiling. 2 thumbs down for this place (boo!). Go for it if you got crappy taste.

PS: Lain kali, nak minta tolong biar ikhlas because Mas certainly did it willingly.

The brunch in Clementi

More pictures can be found here. As you can see from the link, alfie has named his entry a celebration. but unfortunately, i couldnt be doing the same. i didnt quite make it this time round. so theres really not much cause for celebration for me. working 8-6 is a bitch with a capital B and it has taken its toll. i long for a good nite sleep without having to worry about going back to work the following day. yah i know, more than half of earth's population is working office hours and i shouldnt be complaining (thats not really true by the way). but adapting hasnt always been my forte; especially for something that is so abrupt. 24hr shifts followed by 2 off days was such a dream. now that dream seems so unreal and my alarm clock will be screaming me back to the harsh reality of tomorrow morning. im tired.... i so am.

Reunification at Jln Kayu : Part Deux

Reunification at Jln Kayu

A mini reunion that i had yesterday with good friends; a well deserved break for some and catching up session for others. It is funny how sometimes, its the little-est... littlest... littelest?? Kecik nak mampus! Its funny how sometimes, it is the SMALLEST things in life that you partake in that excite you; to invoke just that sufficient amount of ecstacy, blowing you into this little world of orgasmic madness. I am referring to the maggi goreng along Jln Kayu lah dey. Its crazy. They put ganja in it or something (if the media or the proper authorities are reading this, please dont quote me. Its a figure of speech and I only meant it metaphorically, duh). You can never be too safe these days.

So anyways, go try it. No taugeh, mata lembu, extra spicy.

"Aku cinta pada mu maggi goreng..."

Wedding bells in black and red Pt III

I had a chat with the cameraman for this occassion. He was pretty much friendly enough to answer most of my newbie questions. Perhaps it was all his gadgets that he was lugging around. Or perhaps it was the fact that he was earning a few grand per session. I couldnt tell... i was drooling. The whole setup for the wedding was very nice but the blacks and the reds kinda make the whole surrounding a tat too dark. But it still look grand nevertheless. And the food was pretty good. Too bad we came a bit too early...
