Ode to life

May you remain far, far away from the evil gallows of sorrow.
Look forward for a better tomorrow.

May you have faith, faith in everything that is real.
May you feel, feel for what is right.
May your emotions be prompt and justified.

May your judgements be precise and unmarred.
May your love be passionate and unfeigned.
May you be kind to those who are kind and also to those who are not.
May you have compassion;

forgive.

May you have enough strength, because life itself is exhausting.
And when you die, may you be surrounded by the thousands who weep,
weep for the loss and for all that you are.

Labrador Park finally

This was kinda my first attempt using a polarizing filter. Im still learning how to fully utilize it. I've noticed that the pictures came out a bit underexposed and the AF had difficulty trying to find a focal point. But it was still interesting nevertheless. The details from the brightly lit sky have been captured nicely enough without it having to be ruined by overexposure. The third picture's my favourite. No Photoshop for this shoot. Straight from the DSLR. Anybody has a ND filter to lend/give? ;p

I was just browsing the "A Photo A Day Project" at Clubsnap. I wish i have that much time to be taking and submitting at least 1 pic a day...

Note to self: Take more pics when possible. Shutter count only 6K so far...

The Changi Village Experience II

The Changi Village Experience

For this shoot, i was pretty much unprepared. Procrastination at home is so much fun until you've realised your a little bit behind schedule. Thats when reality screams in your ear and tell you that your f*cked. So i rushed, driving off like a mad man (bear in mind that i seldom do that; strictly abiding to every single traffic rule and regulation driving in my very slow and stock car). When i reached Changi, i zipped past all the ah-sohs and the ah-peks and the fishing dudes, snap snap snapping all the way till i could find a decent spot to set up my tripod. That evening, it seemed as though the sunset was waiting for me (you camwhore). Right after the first click of my shutter, the sky burst into a million array of colours, showing off its majestic light and i was utterly in awe of its grandeur. Not wasting any time, i milked every last drop of the sunset, trying to capture "The Moment". Exaggeration or any forms of alteration was not a requirement as i felt that the outcome of the pictures and the colours that ive managed to capture was adequate.
